Saboot is an iPhone app by Abhijeet Verma that keeps a private, dated record of a consumer dispute. It has no account and no server. Saboot keeps records; it does not give legal advice.

What it is notNot a law firm or legal service. Saboot keeps records; it does not give legal advice, certify evidence, or promise that any court, regulator or company will accept it.
PlatformsiPhone (iOS). A free companion, Saboot for Mac, is in development; it reads a full WhatsApp history from an iPhone backup and is not published yet.
App Store statusNot yet on the App Store. Version 1.0 has been submitted to Apple for review.
PriceFree for 2 open cases. Saboot Pro: $9.99 per year or $1.99 per month (or the same in local currency), with Family Sharing. If Pro ends, cases stay on the device.
Account and serverNo account and no Saboot server. No analytics, no ads.
Where data is keptOn the iPhone and in the user’s own iCloud Drive. Transcription and text recognition run on the device.
Only network useAn optional independent timestamp (RFC 3161, off by default, part of Pro, planned for 1.1) sends only the SHA-256 hash of the export’s manifest to a time-stamping authority, currently FreeTSA, described as a basic proof.
ExportPDF with cover, timeline and exhibits, plus a ZIP of the untouched original files, with a SHA-256 fingerprint for each file.
Chat sourcesWhatsApp (its own Export chat, and full histories from an iPhone backup via Saboot for Mac), Telegram, Messenger and Signal exports.
Record statementA signable draft that lists each exhibit with its hash value. Versions: General; India (Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam 2023, section 63, Part A drafted, Part B left blank for an expert); United Kingdom (England and Wales witness statement); United States (28 U.S.C. 1746 declaration); Australia (affidavit); Canada (affidavit). Saboot does not certify the statement.
RemindersPromises such as “we’ll call back by Friday” become to-dos with reminders; warranty reminders 30 days and 7 days before expiry.
