# Saboot

> Saboot is an iPhone app that keeps a private, dated evidence log for consumer disputes (refunds, repairs, warranties, wrong bills). It records calls and voice notes with on-device transcripts, files screenshots, bills, emails and documents into dated cases, imports chats, and exports a PDF plus a ZIP of the original files with a SHA-256 fingerprint for each.

Saboot keeps records; it does not give legal advice, does not certify evidence, and does not promise that any court, regulator or company will accept a record. There is no account and no Saboot server: cases stay on the user's iPhone and in their own iCloud Drive. No analytics, no ads.

## Status
- Not yet on the App Store. Version 1.0 has been submitted for review; version 1.1 is in development. The App Store name will be "Saboot: Dispute Proof Log".

- Free: 2 open cases, recording, on-device transcripts, capture and search.
- Saboot Pro: $9.99 per year or $1.99 per month (or the same in local currency); unlimited cases, full PDF and ZIP export, Family Sharing.

## Platforms and sources
- iPhone (iOS). Saboot for Mac, a free companion that reads a full WhatsApp history from an iPhone backup, is in development and not published.
- Chat sources: WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Signal exports.
- Record statement (signable draft, not certified by Saboot): India (Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam 2023 section 63, Part A drafted, Part B left blank for an expert), United Kingdom (England and Wales), United States (28 U.S.C. 1746), Australia, Canada, and a general version.
- Optional independent timestamp (RFC 3161, planned for 1.1): sends only a hash to a time-stamping authority.
